Additions to Agenda: Chad needs a volunteer for Friday night at the Stallion Expo.

Minutes of February Meeting:

Tom Connelly requested additional clarification on the statement regarding Dr. Rooker’s life membership in the February’s minutes.

Motion by Hank Ely to accept February, 2007 minutes; seconded by Terri Delbridge. Motion passed.

Correspondence:

Tom received information regarding the state of Michigan cutting equine funding in 2007. Clara passed along information on an All Breed 4-H show on August 10-12

Membership Report – Clara Burns:

277 Senior members; 38 3-yr members; 2 life members; 66 junior members for a total of 383. Membership drawing at Expo this weekend – new members could receive a “free” membership

Dressage/Sport Horse Report:

Nothing new to report at this time.

Directors/Officers Insurance:

Judy Zumbach placed a motion before the Board to accept Equisure Insurance’s price and to send in the application to Equisure for D&O coverage. Seconded by Terri Delbridge

Stallion Expo:

Someone is needed to work Friday night and during the weekend.

Newsletter:

Judy Zumbach presented a draft copy to the Board and Guests. Some additions and changes were discussed and an amended newsletter will be given to Clara to send out.

Update on May Show

Show bill will be out shortly

Clara wanted to add a “Thank You” to the newsletter for sponsors of the coolers and donuts. We would also like to give out bags again this year. We are looking for volunteers for items to be placed in the bag.

Sale of AHAM Gear:

Ann Knoop will contact Northville Stitchery to see what may be available.
